Appworks Studio Corp. (“Company”, “Our”, “Us” or “We”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. The Company operates “CallForMe”, a U.S.-based mobile application that allows users to authorize an artificial intelligence-powered system to place outbound telephone calls on their behalf to complete specific user-requested tasks, such as subscription cancellations (the “Platform”).
This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you download, access, or use the Platform, whether or not you have completed a task through the Platform, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information when you create an account, submit tasks, and otherwise interact with the Platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
On the Platform when you create an account, submit tasks, upload information, or otherwise use the Services;
In email, text message, and other electronic communications between you and the Company relating to the Platform or Services;
Through mobile application downloads and in-app functionality that provide non-browser-based interaction between you and the Platform; and
In connection with outbound telephone calls placed by the Platform on your behalf, including call recordings, transcripts, and summaries generated as part of the Services.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Platform. By accessing or using this Platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (See changes to our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of this Platform after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
Our Platform is not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information to or on the Platform without your parent or legal guardian’s consent to do so. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on this Platform or on or through any of its features/register on the Platform, make any purchases through the Platform, use any features of this Platform or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We collect several types of information from and about users of the Platform, including information:
Personal information, such as your name, telephone number, date of birth, email address (if provided), and other information you choose to provide that can reasonably be used to identify you;
Task-related and call data, including information you provide in connection with tasks you submit through the Platform, such as service provider names, account identifiers, invoices or statements you upload, and information exchanged during outbound calls placed on your behalf, including call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and task outcomes; and
Technical and usage information, such as information about your device, application usage, log data, and general interaction with the Platform.
We do not seek to collect sensitive categories of personal information except where such information is voluntarily provided by you and reasonably necessary to perform the Services you request.
We collect this information:
Directly from you when you create an account, submit tasks, upload information, communicate with us, or otherwise use the Platform;
Automatically when you access or use the Platform, including through application logs and similar technologies necessary to operate, maintain, and secure the Platform; and
From third-party service providers that support the operation of the Platform, such as cloud hosting providers, communications providers, artificial intelligence service providers, and payment processors, in each case to the extent necessary to provide the Services.
Information You Provide to Us
The information we collect on or through the Platform may include:
Account information, including your name, verified telephone number, date of birth, and optional email address, provided when you register for an account;
Task submission information, including information you provide when creating a task, such as the name of the service provider, relevant account details, and any instructions or context needed to complete the requested task;
Uploaded content, including text input, voice input, images, or documents (such as invoices or account statements) that you choose to upload in connection with a task;
Call-related information, including recordings, transcripts, summaries, confirmation numbers, and other information generated during outbound calls placed on your behalf; and
Communications, including records of correspondence if you contact us for support or other inquiries.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide through the Platform is accurate and that you have the right to provide such information. Please note that while we implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Platform.
Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As you access and use the Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information necessary to operate, maintain, and secure the Platform. This information may include:
Usage and log data, such as application activity, access times, error logs, and other diagnostic information related to your interaction with the Platform;
Device and connection information, including your IP address, device identifier, operating system, and application version; and
General location information, such as approximate location derived from your IP address.
We collect this information through application logs, cloud infrastructure, and similar technologies that are required for the Platform to function properly. The Platform does not use cookies, web beacons, or similar browser-based tracking technologies for advertising or behavioral tracking purposes.
The information we collect automatically is used for purposes such as:
Operating and maintaining the Platform;
Monitoring performance, reliability, and system integrity;
Troubleshooting, debugging, and improving the Platform; and
Protecting the security of the Platform and our users.
We do not use automatic data collection technologies to track your online activities across third-party websites or services, and we do not engage in targeted advertising based on such activities.
We use the information we collect about you or that you provide to us for the following purposes:
To provide and operate the services in the following ways:
To present our Platform and its contents to you;
To create, maintain, and manage your account;
To process and carry out tasks you submit through the Platform;
To place outbound telephone calls on your behalf and communicate with third-party service providers in accordance with your instructions;
To generate call recordings, transcripts, summaries, confirmation details, and task outcomes and make those results available to you through the Platform;
To process payments and manage billing related to the Services; and
To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
To operate, maintain, and support the Platform and its underlying infrastructure;
To monitor performance, reliability, and system integrity;
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, errors, misuse, or security incidents; and
To enforce our Terms of Use and other applicable agreements.
To analyze usage patterns, task outcomes, and call performance in order to improve the accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness of the Services and the artificial intelligence systems, including its underlying model and training data;
To develop, test, and refine internal tools, features, and artificial intelligence systems used to support task execution, call handling, and system performance; and
To conduct internal research, analytics, and quality assurance related to the operation and improvement of the Platform.
Raw call recordings and transcripts are used to provide and support the Services
To provide service-related notices, updates, and administrative messages;
To notify you about changes to the Platform, the Services, or applicable policies; and
To communicate with you regarding your account or submitted tasks.
To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests; and
To protect the rights, property, and safety of the Company, our users, and others.
We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising, do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not engage in third-party marketing based on your use of the Platform.
Call Recording, Transcription, and Consent
As part of the Services, the Platform places outbound calls on your behalf using caller identification substitution or masking technology to present your verified telephone number as the caller identification (“Caller ID”) information to third-party service providers. Outbound calls are transmitted using third-party voice-over-internet-protocol (“VoIP”) and communications infrastructure providers, such as Twilio, rather than directly through your mobile carrier, in order to initiate, route, connect, record, and transcribe calls placed through the Platform. Calls placed through the Platform on your behalf may be recorded and transcribed, and we may collect and process related call metadata (such as call time, duration, and call status).
Call recordings, transcripts, and related metadata are processed to provide and support the Services, including completing user-requested tasks, generating summaries and outcomes made available to users, supporting customer inquiries, maintaining system integrity, and complying with applicable legal obligations. Such information may contain personal information disclosed during the course of a call by users or by third-party service providers with whom the Platform communicates on a user’s behalf.
The Company may also analyze call recordings, transcripts, and related call data to improve the performance, accuracy, and reliability of the Services and the artificial intelligence systems used to operate the Platform.
Call recordings, transcripts, and related call data may be processed and stored using third-party service providers acting on the Company’s behalf, including communications providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and artificial intelligence service providers, subject to contractual restrictions on use and confidentiality.
Consent to call placement, recording, and transcription, including any notices provided to call recipients, is governed by the Terms of Use.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose, use, and otherwise process aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify, relate to, describe, or could not reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an identifiable individual or household, without restriction and for any lawful purpose.
We may disclose personal information that we collect or that you provide, as described in this Privacy Policy, to third parties only in the circumstances and for the purposes set forth below:
Communications and telephony providers, including providers of voice-over-internet-protocol (“VoIP”) and call infrastructure used to place outbound calls on users’ behalf;
Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers used to store, process, and secure data;
Artificial intelligence and machine learning service providers used to support call handling, transcription, summarization, and system performance;
Payment processing and billing providers used to process payments and manage subscriptions; and
Customer support and operational service providers assisting with service delivery and user inquiries.
Such service providers are authorized to process personal information only as necessary to provide services to us and are subject to contractual obligations requiring confidentiality, data security, and use restrictions consistent with this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose your personal information:
To comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request;
To enforce or apply our Terms of Use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes;
If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction; and
In those cases where we sell or negotiate to sell our business to a buyer or prospective buyer. In this situation, we will see that the confidentiality of your personal information and give you notice before this information is transferred to the buyer.
Any third parties to whom we may disclose personal information may have their own privacy policies which describe how they use and disclose personal information. Those policies will govern use, handling and disclosure of your personal information once we have shared it with those third parties as described in this Privacy Policy. If you want to learn more about their privacy practices, we encourage you to visit the websites of those third parties. These entities or their servers may be located either inside or outside the United States.
We strive to provide you with meaningful choices regarding the personal information you provide to us and how it is used and disclosed, subject to applicable law and the operational requirements of the Services.
Account Information. You may review and update certain account information by accessing your account through the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information associated with your account.
Communications. We may send you service-related communications, including administrative messages, account notifications, confirmations, and updates that are necessary to provide and support the Services. These communications are not optional, as they are required for the operation of the Platform. If we send non-essential communications (such as general product updates), you may opt out of receiving such communications by following the instructions provided in those messages or by contacting us using the information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.
Call Recording and Transcription. The Services involve placing outbound calls on your behalf that may be recorded and transcribed. Recording and transcription are integral to the operation of the Platform, and you do not have the ability to opt out of recording or transcription while continuing to use the Services. Additional information regarding call recording, transcription, and related data practices is provided in this Privacy Policy and in the Terms of Use.
Analytics and System Improvements. We do not use personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information. We do not provide user-configurable controls to opt out of data processing activities that are necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services, including analytics and system-performance monitoring. Where feasible, we seek to rely on aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data for system improvement and artificial intelligence development, as described in this Privacy Policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information associated with your account, including raw, account-linked call recordings, transcripts, and task-related data, by accessing your account through the Platform or by contacting us using the contact information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. Such requests are subject to applicable legal requirements and limitations described in this Privacy Policy.
We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to a request. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by applicable law, including where fulfilling the request would be unlawful, would adversely affect the rights or freedoms of others, or would not be technically feasible.
Please note that certain personal information may be retained as necessary to provide the Services, comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other legitimate business purposes. In addition, information that has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified may not be subject to access, correction, or deletion requests, consistent with applicable law.
If you request deletion of your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, subject to applicable legal and operational limitations. Please note that deletion of your account or raw, account-linked personal information will not require the removal or retraining of artificial intelligence models that were previously trained using aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from such information, where such data is no longer reasonably capable of being associated with you or any identifiable individual.
Your California Privacy Rights
This PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the information contained in this Privacy Policy and applies solely to visitors, users, and others who reside in the State of California. Company adopts this notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and other California privacy laws. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this notice.
Company collects various types of personal data about you during our relationship. In particular, we collect and within the preceding twelve (12) months may have collected:
Identifiers, such as name, telephone number, email address (if provided), account credentials, and other information you provide when creating an account or submitting tasks;
Commercial information, such as records of services requested or completed through the Platform and related billing information;
Audio, electronic, and similar information, including call recordings, call transcripts, call summaries, and related metadata generated when the Platform places outbound calls on your behalf;
Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as application usage data, logs, timestamps, and performance data generated when you access or use the Platform; and
Inferences, drawn from the information described above to support task execution, system performance, and service improvement.
We may disclose personal information to service providers that process information on our behalf for the purposes described above, including communications and telephony providers, cloud infrastructure providers, artificial intelligence service providers, and payment processors. We may also disclose personal information for legal, compliance, or business transaction purposes, as described in the section titled “Disclosure of Your Information.”
We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
Certain personal information processed through the Platform, such as information disclosed during recorded calls, may constitute “sensitive personal information” under the CPRA. We use sensitive personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and perform other permitted business purposes under the CPRA. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about California residents or for advertising purposes.
Subject to certain limitations and exceptions under applicable law, California residents have the right to:
request access to the personal information we have collected about them;
request correction of inaccurate personal information;
request deletion of personal information (by terminating your account in accordance with the Terms of Use);
request information about our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information; and
not be discriminated against for exercising their privacy rights.
You may submit a request to exercise your California privacy rights by contacting us using the contact information provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. We may require you to verify your identity before responding to a request, and we may deny or limit requests as permitted by law.
Please note that certain personal information may be retained as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for other lawful business purposes. Information that has been aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified may not be subject to these rights.
Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed and the risks associated with providing the Services.
Personal information is stored and processed using secure systems and infrastructure operated by the Company and its service providers, which may include cloud-based hosting, communications, and artificial intelligence service providers. Access to personal information is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require access to perform their duties and are subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
The security of your information also depends on you. If you are provided with, or choose, credentials to access your account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of those credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You should notify us promptly if you believe your account credentials have been compromised.
Although we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Any transmission of personal information to or through the Platform is at your own risk.
AI-Generated Content and Personalization
The Platform uses artificial intelligence–enabled systems to support the operation of the Services, including placing outbound calls on users’ behalf, generating call transcripts and summaries, and improving system performance and reliability.
Personal information processed in connection with these features may include user-provided task instructions, call recordings and transcripts, and related usage data. Such information is processed solely for purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, supporting users, maintaining system integrity, and improving system functionality.
Where feasible and appropriate, insights used to improve artificial intelligence systems are derived from aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data. The Company does not use personal information processed through artificial intelligence systems for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data Retention
If you create an account with the Company, we will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with Services. We will retain and use your information while there is a legitimate reason for doing so or as necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Call recordings, transcripts, and related task data may be retained after task completion or account deletion as reasonably necessary to support customer inquiries, comply with legal obligations, and maintain system integrity, after which such data may be deleted or de-identified in accordance with our retention practices.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
It is our Privacy Policy to post any changes we make to our Privacy Policy on this page with a notice that the privacy policy has been updated on the Platform home page. If we make material changes to how we treat our users’ personal information, we will notify you by email to the email address specified in your account and/or through a notice on the Platform home page. The date the Privacy Policy was last revised is identified at the top of the page. You are responsible for ensuring we have an up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you and for periodically visiting our Platform and this Privacy Policy to check for any changes.
Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. To the extent that you are a user who resides outside of the United States, please be advised that any information provided will be transferred to the United States. By visiting and using the Platform and submitting any information through the Platform, you are therefore authorizing this transfer of information to the United States. If any part of this Privacy Policy is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, then the invalid or unenforceable provision or part will be deemed suspended by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provisions or part, and the remainder of this Privacy Policy shall continue in full force and effect.
The Platform is operated in the United States, and the Services are intended for use by individuals located in the United States. Personal information we collect may be processed and stored in the United States or in other locations where the Company or its service providers maintain facilities.
We may transfer personal information to service providers that support the operation of the Platform and the provision of the Services, including cloud hosting, communications, artificial intelligence, and payment processing providers.
